Role and Responsibilities

The City of Snoqualmie Building Division – a division of the Community Development Department – is responsible for regulatory oversite during and after the construction process.

The Building Division is responsible for maintenance of fire and life safety codes in non-residential buildings through an annual inspection program.

Inspection Requests & Over-the-Counter Permit Applications

Inspection requests and over the counter (no review needed) permit applications can be made online through

  • Requests must be made no later than 5 p.m. for an inspection the next business day. You may request a morning appointment (between 8 a.m. and noon) or an afternoon appointment (between noon and 3 p.m.). 
  • Requests made between the hours of 5 p.m. and midnight will be scheduled for the day following the next business day. All late inspection requests and exceptions will be considered by the Building Official on a case-by-case basis as time allows.
