Parks Division

Snoqualmie’s parks and natural areas preserve the beauty of Snoqualmie while providing recreational areas and trails to residents, visitors, and employees of local companies.

Parks and Park Facilities

The Snoqualmie Parks Division manages more than 40 parks that offer something for everyone, from walking paths and playgrounds, to tennis courts and athletic fields. In addition, Snoqualmie has more than 540 acres of open space and approximately 35 miles of public trails throughout the community.

Trails

More than 35 miles of trails give residents and visitors an opportunity to explore the area’s natural beauty and ample wildlife. Most trails are open for walking, hiking, biking, and horseback riding. In addition, many of the trails connect to regional trail systems.

The City of Snoqualmie maintains well-functioning streets and roadway infrastructure including pavement overlays and markings; sign maintenance and repair; drainage systems; street reconstruction; and snowplowing and de-icing.

Snow and Storm Information

Public Works crews are prepared to plow and de-ice around the clock as needed for the safety of the community and accessibility for police, fire, and emergency medical services.

Residents can assist with keeping roads clear by moving cars into driveways and clearing storm drains of debris before and during snowfall when safe to do so.

Snoqualmie’s snowplow route classifies streets based on street function, traffic volume, and importance to the welfare of the community.
