Letter from Mayor Larson

Dear Snoqualmie Residents and Business Owners:

Thank you for coming together during this unprecedented time to help slow the threat of COVID-19. I want to share my gratitude for your calm, along with your willingness to support your community and neighbors. I also want to take this opportunity to share steps the city has taken in response, and to remind you of best practices and actions you can take.

The City of Snoqualmie Department of Emergency Management continues to monitor the local risk of the novel coronavirus and COVID-19. The city is actively involved in meetings with local and regional agencies including King County, Public Health – Seattle & King County, and the Washington State Department of Health, among others.

In accordance with public health recommendations and to ensure resident and staff safety in reducing the spread of COVID-19, Snoqualmie City Hall is temporarily closed to the public. Governmental services will continue. You can contact departments or staff for questions, assistance, and appointments. The Police Department and Fire Department lobbies remain open to the public.

We are receiving new information on a daily basis and are regularly updating information relevant to residents, employees, and businesses on our website. If you have a local resource or initiative designed to assist those in need and would like assistance in getting the word out, please contact our Communications Division at info@snoqualmiewa.gov.

We are a strong community with exceptional individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. Thank you for your continued trust, patience, and empathy for one another as we work together during this challenging time.

Sincerely,

Matt Larson, Mayor
City of Snoqualmie
