This project includes the replacement of water and sewer mains, installation of storm drainage systems, and improvements to the streets consistent with City of Snoqualmie adopted standards. The project also intends to connect SE Newton St from Doone Ave SE to Olmstead Pl.
The Riverbank Repair Project is located at the intersection of SE River Street and Park Ave SE in downtown Snoqualmie along the Snoqualmie River. The City of Snoqualmie, in close cooperation with King County, is repairing an existing revetment – which is a sloping structure below the roadway and stretching under the river. The repaired revetment will protect properties and structures along the roadway and will stabilize a city water main and infrastructure under the road shoulder. It will increase safety for residents and pedestrians.
The City of Snoqualmie continues its downtown improvements to utilities and stormwater infrastructure. The next phase takes place along Maple Ave SE, Doone Ave SE, SE King Street, and Pine Ave SE. In addition to infrastructure improvements, heritage trees will be installed.
