[ARCHIVED] Snoqualmie Suspends Water Shut Offs and Late Fees

Under Mayor Larson’s Proclamation of Emergency for the novel coronavirus and Covid-19, the City of Snoqualmie will suspend water shutoffs and assessment of late fees for utility accounts in Snoqualmie that are delinquent in payment or become delinquent for those customers economically affected due to the Governor Inslee’s orders.

The suspension includes service for potable water, storm water, and sewer for water customers served by the City of Snoqualmie.

“Water is critical to the health and safety of our residents and local businesses,” said Mayor Matt Larson. “We know that many people in our community may be temporarily unemployed during the closure of non-essential service businesses, as well as local businesses that may be struggling during this time. As people try to maintain safe and comfortable homes through financial crisis, we are here to help.”

Questions may be sent to the City of Snoqualmie utility clerk via email at twood@snoqualmiwa.gov.
