[ARCHIVED] Snoqualmie Transportation Improvement Projects Prioritized for 2021-2026

The City of Snoqualmie Parks & Public Works Department has published a proposed Six-Year Transportation Improvement Plan, also known as a STIP, for the years 2021-2026. The projects are described in the plan posted at bit.ly/SnoqSTIP.

The STIP includes projects such as pavement overlays; roadway widening; bridge replacement and repair; traffic signal systems; safety enhancements; bicycle and pedestrian facilities; and transit improvements within city limits.

The STIP is updated annually as required by state law and enables the City of Snoqualmie to compete for transportation funding grants from most state and federal sources. It must be approved and adopted by the City Council. Adoption does not commit any city funding to specific projects.

The public hearing will be on July 13, 2020 at 7 p.m. during the City Council meeting. Written comments will be accepted by the City Clerk at jwarren@snoqualmiewa.gov through July 13 at 4 p.m. The hearing and meeting will be held via Zoom. Sign-in instructions for the meeting will be published as part of the City Council agenda packet.
