Special events and filming within the Snoqualmie City Limits require permits. Applications are reviewed by the Community Liaison, Administration, Fire, Parks and Public Works, and Police.
Applications must be received no later than 30 days prior to the event. Depending on the nature and scope of the proposed event, other permits and fees may be required as determined through the application process.
Special Event Permit Fee $35 due with application, please contact Miles Dewar, Finance, mdewar@snoqualmiewa.gov to process payment. We do not accept credit card payments online or by phone, only in person. Permit process requires payment before the approval process.

Train Dreams, Netflix feature film, was partially filmed in Snoqualmie in May of 2024. Key locations are prominently featured with support from the Northwest Railway Museum, depicting authentic railroad scenes. Trailer
