The YMCA of Greater Seattle is hosting the Y’s annual Healthy Kids Day® at locations across King County, including the Snoqualmie Community Center/ Y MCA.
This free, annual event features a variety of family-friendly activities to encourage healthy kids, healthy families, and a healthy start to the summer season. Some featured activities include healthy snack demonstrations, water safety activities, prizes, summer camp crafts, sports challenges, bounce houses, and more.
Healthy Kids Day’s mission is to turn fun and play into lifelong memories. This year's event happens on Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 10 am to 2 pm, at the Snoqualmie Community Center/YMCA, 35018 SE Ridge Street.
Activities include :
- Create wooden necklaces and lanyards
- Dance in family ZUMBA®
- Hula hoop and play outdoors
- Learn how to properly fit your life jacket
- Make a snack to take
- Paint rocks
- Soak up river safety information
- Stretch out in yoga
- Touch a fire truck
- Try out t-ball
