Snoqualmie Fire Department Recruiting Volunteers

Apply by April 27 to be a volunteer firefighter/EMT in your community

The City of Snoqualmie Fire Department is accepting applications for individuals to train and volunteer as firefighters and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) in Snoqualmie. 

New members receive comprehensive training in fire suppression, medical emergencies, and rescue services. They will also receive certification as an EMT and Firefighter 1.   

A physical ability test, interviews and a written general knowledge exam will be held Saturday, May 4 at the Snoqualmie Fire Station, 37600 SE Snoqualmie.  

To be considered, applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Living within a fifteen-minute driving distance of Snoqualmie city limits is preferred, although not required.

Serve Your Community with CERT Training

The Snoqualmie Fire Department anticipates offering Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training in 2024. This hands-on course, open to all Snoqualmie Valley residents, teaches you to help your family and neighbors during local and regional emergencies such as earthquakes and floods. If you are interested in upcoming classes, email eoc@snoqualmiewa.gov.
