[ARCHIVED] Coffee with a Cop

Coffee with a Cop

Discuss concerns or share a friendly conversation at Coffee with a Cop, held Wednesday, September 19, 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Bindlestick located at 8010 Railroad Avenue in downtown Snoqualmie. Members of the Snoqualmie Police Department, which serves Snoqualmie and North Bend, will be on hand to meet with residents.

“This is what having a cup of coffee is all about – it’s the conversation with others that makes the coffee more enjoyable,” said Snoqualmie Police Chief Perry Phipps.

Coffee with a Cop, which started as a nationwide initiative in 2011, opens the door for interactions between law enforcement officers and community members outside of crisis situations that typically bring them together. The program has expanded to Canada, Europe, Australia, and Africa.
