The Snoqualmie Arts Commission and Mt. Si Artists Guild present the annual Finally Friday Art & Wine Walk, kicking off May 31, 6-9 p.m. in Historic Snoqualmie. Downtown is the destination on the final Friday of each month, May through September.

Live music and active artists will share their artistic endeavors. Restaurants and business establishments throughout downtown Snoqualmie will provide tasty bites and delights, designed to satisfy a range of palates.

Local and regional wineries* will provide tastings in the vibrant and varied shops along Railroad Ave SE between River and King Streets.  Wine tastings are optional. The artwalk is free and all ages are invited!

“Of course, we do it for the art, but when it’s sunny and there’s music playing downtown, the wine adds a special touch.” said Sally Rackets, chair of the Snoqualmie Arts Commission and lead organizer of the events.

To participate in the wine tastings, purchase advance tickets for $25 at www.FinallyFridayArtandWineWalks.org. Tickets are also available on the night of the walk at Carousel Gift Shop at the corner of Railroad Ave and King Street, and Kevin Hauglie’s Farmers Insurance at the corner of Railroad Ave and River Street. Tickets include a souvenir wine glass and ten tastings. New this year, for a $5 donation that supports the arts, attendees will receive a four-wine bottle tote bag.

Questions may be directed to Sally Rackets at sallyrackets@comcast.net.

*Participating wineries include Celaeno Winery, Chateau NoElle Vineyards & Winery, Convergence Zone Cellars, DeLille Cellars, Drum Roll Wine, Eternal Wines, Long Cellars, Mount Si Winery, Naches Heights Vineyard & Winery, Sigillo Cellars, Sol Stone Winery, The Woodhouse Wine Estates, William Grassie Wine Estates.

This event is sponsored by the Snoqualmie Arts Commission, Mt. Si Artists Guild, and King County 4Culture.
