March 26, 2024 - DUI

A North Bend officer observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit. Prior to the stop, the officer also noticed the driver crossing over the center line. The officer observed what he believed to be the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. There were also further signs indicating the driver was possibly under the influence. After a voluntary field sobriety test, the driver was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI).

March 26, 2024 - 911 Problem

Dispatch advised officers of a 911 problem at a North Bend motel. Officers arrived and assisted a male who appeared too intoxicated to be able to care for himself. He was involuntarily committed with the assistance of Eastside Fire and Rescue to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital. An officer also observed a known male at the location who had an active warrant for his arrest for Domestic Violence Assault. The male was arrested and booked into Issaquah Jail.

March 27, 2024 - Collision

After a collision occurred in downtown Snoqualmie, an officer determined what had occurred with the assistance of a witness. The driver was issued a citation for Failure to Yield and was issued a criminal citation for driving with a suspended license.

March 28, 2024 - Disturbance

Units responded to a Snoqualmie laundromat for a report of a possible intoxicated female. She was reportedly seen throwing coins into the air duct. Upon arrival, the female was not causing a disturbance. She did admit to throwing coins in the air duct.

March 29, 2024  - Disturbance

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance call in North Bend. Neighbors reported they could hear a female screaming and objects banging at the location. Upon arrival, the two individuals indicated that they were in an argument, and something had knocked over. The officer reported no visible signs of abuse.  The male subject returned with two active felony warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked into King County Jail.

March 31, 2024-DUI

Prior to 6 pm, officers were dispatched to a male parked near an elementary school, blocking a crosswalk and possibly consuming alcohol. While contacting the male, an officer observed suspected open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. The male performed voluntary field sobriety tests. The male was subsequently arrested for DUI and booked into Issaquah Jail.

April 1, 2024 - DUI

Just prior to 1 am, units responded to an injury collision at Railroad Ave and King St in Snoqualmie. The investigating officer believed that one of the drivers was possibly impaired. The driver agreed to perform voluntary field sobriety tests. The driver was subsequently arrested for DUI. At the Snoqualmie Police Department, a test of the driver’s alcohol determined that he was over two times the legal limit of .08. The driver was booked into Issaquah Jail.

April 2, 2024 - Hit & Run

Officers responded to a light pole that had recently been struck by a vehicle. Multiple callers were able to provide relevant information that led to the identification of the driver. Through an investigation by officers, the responsible driver was issued a criminal citation for hit-and-run on unattended property.

April 3, 2024 - Agency Assist

On 04-03-2024, the Snoqualmie Police Department was made aware of a vehicle pursuit originating from Bellevue Police Department after the suspect in a stolen car, a white GMC Yukon, rammed a Bellevue Police vehicle. The pursuit continued through Issaquah and into the Snoqualmie-North Bend area. The suspect entered and exited I-90 several times, including going the wrong way on I-90. The suspect fled onto Snoqualmie Parkway where a Snoqualmie PD Detective was able to successfully deploy Stop Sticks. The suspect crashed the vehicle into the trees on Snoqualmie Parkway at PBA Rd.

The suspect fled into the maintenance shop at the Club at Snoqualmie Ridge. He stole a set of keys to a black Subaru Forester and continued to flee from law enforcement, eventually getting back on I-90. The suspect exited for a second time in North Bend where he fled into the woods off NE 3rd St and SE 120th St. The suspect crashed the Subaru and fled on foot toward the Snoqualmie River between Thrasher and SE Mt Si Rd. He was taken into custody without incident by the King County Sheriff’s Office K9 team. The agencies involved were Bellevue, WSP, KCSO, Issaquah PD, DFWD and the Snoqualmie PD.

April 4, 2024 - C.I.T.

On the morning of April 4th, officers and Snoqualmie’s Mental Health Professional (MHP) responded to an escalated juvenile. The juvenile has ongoing medical/mental health difficulties. Due to what had occurred, the incident became an involuntary treatment situation. The juvenile originally refused to transport to the hospital. However, due to his familiarity and the relationship previously developed with the MHP, the juvenile eventually agreed to get onto an ambulance gurney of his own volition. He was subsequently transported to Seattle Children’s Hospital for further care. This call highlighted the important work that the MHP does each day to help the community be safer and healthier.

April 11, 2024 - Traffic Offense

An officer observed a yellow school bus driving without a rear license plate affixed to the rear of the vehicle. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the driver and soon learned the driver had a suspended driver’s license. Upon running the VIN, the officer discovered the vehicle’s registration had been expired since May 2021.
