JULY 25, 2024 | SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE/WARRANT ARREST – SNOQUALMIE POINT
While on routine patrol, officers checked on a suspicious vehicle with no license plates. When they ran the driver’s identification, he came back with a warrant out of Fife PD for $5,000 bail. The subject was booked into SCORE jail on his warrant.
JULY 26, 2024 | AREA CHECK/WELFARE CHECK – SNOQUALMIE FALLS
There was a report of a suicidal subject who might be in the area of the falls. The subject recently received some bad news about their health and the family was concerned based on some text messages that were sent. Officers did an extensive area check of the falls and the subject's residence and were unable to locate him. Info was given to the department's Mental Health Professional for follow up as well.
JULY 26, 2024 | WELFARE CHECK – E NORTH BEND WAY @ SE CEDAR FALLS WAY
There was a report of a male subject walking down the middle of the street, looking like he was throwing something at cars and lighting papers on fire and throwing them into the bushes. Officers located the subject who seemed very agitated. After officers did their investigation, the subject was arrested and booked into jail for reckless burning and disorderly conduct.
JULY 27, 2024 | COMMERCIAL ALARM – SNOQUALMIE POST OFFICE
Officers arrived to an audible commercial alarm at the post office. Officers found that one of the doors was not secured. It didn’t appear to have any signs of forced entry. However, loose mail was found on the ground. After reviewing video camera footage from a nearby residence, it did appear to be a confirmed commercial burglary.
JULY 27, 2024 | DUI – SNOQUALMIE 76 GAS STATION
There was a report of a “slumper” behind the wheel of a running vehicle. Officers arrived and observed the driver passed out with drug paraphernalia around him. Officers woke up the driver and announced their presence, and he immediately put the vehicle in drive and sped out of the parking lot, hitting the spike strip. Officers pursued the vehicle for DUI and were able to use a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle. The driver then fled on foot, was caught and taken into custody. The subject had several warrants, including a felony DOC escape warrant. A search warrant was granted for the vehicle where officers found drugs, including suspected fentaNYL and cocaine, along with a gun. The suspect was booked into jail.
JULY 27, 2024 | UNWANTED SUBJECTS – SNOQUALMIE DOLLAR TREE
There was a report of two subjects doing drugs in the bathroom. Officers made contact, but didn’t locate any drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were issued no trespassing letters from the business.
JULY 27, 2024 | THEFT IN PROGRESS – NORTH BEND OUTLET MALL ZUMIES
There was a report of an adult female with a juvenile who was concealing items in her bag. When the store employees confronted her about the possible theft, she left the store and got into a vehicle with unknown plates prior to police arrival. This subject was recognized by store employees as a previous shoplifter.
JULY 28, 2024 | SUSPICIOUS – 200 BLOCK MAIN AVE N
A suspicious male in a van parked in the area, with the male driver sitting in it who appeared to be naked but not exposing himself. Officers contacted the driver who was observed putting on a pair of pants, but it was unknown if he was completely naked at the time. The witness did not want to fill out a statement form. The subject was told to move along.
JULY 28, 2024 – THEFT/SHOPLIFT – NIKE OUTLET MALL
A male and a female with a history of shoplifting were spotted by security entering the Nike store. The subject started filling a trash bag with merchandise. Officers were on scene when the couple went out the door, with a suspect fleeing on foot. Officers were able to chase him and take him into custody. The subject claimed to have swallowed fentaNYL and was taken to the hospital. The suspect was cited and released for Theft 3rd and two counts of obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer.
JULY 29, 2024 | MALICIOUS MISCHIEF – MT SI SENIOR CENTER
An unknown person broke the front passenger side window of the victim's vehicle at the location. Nothing was taken, but the damage was approximately $500.
JULY 30, 2024 | COMMERCIAL BURGLARY REPORT – SNOQUALMIE ARBOR EYE CARE
Sometime during the night, an unknown person removed one of the windows on the northside of the business and took several pairs of designer sunglasses from the display without setting off the alarm. The total retail value of the stolen items was estimated at $16,000. This case is still under investigation.
