August 4, 2024 | Burglary Follow Up

Suspects in a burglary of the Snoqualmie Post Office the previous week were identified. The postal inspector may file federal charges as the two identified subjects are suspects in several other post office burglaries in the state.

August 4, 2024 | Crisis

Officers responded to a North Bend motel for the report of a possible suicidal subject. Officers contacted the subject, who was then transported to the hospital.

August 4, 2024 | Package Theft

A Snoqualmie resident reported the theft of a package containing children’s sunscreen valued at $25. No suspect info is known at this time.

August 5, 2024 | Warrants Arrest

Officers contacted a female in Snoqualmie who was inside a rental vehicle and was obstructing the repossession of that vehicle. Upon checking the subject’s identity, it was determined she had warrants for her arrest. She was booked into Issaquah Jail on those warrants and an additional charge of obstruction.

August 5, 2024 | Elk Blocking Traffic

Officers responded to SR 202 near Snoqualmie Middle School for the report of elk standing in the middle of the roadway for an extended period of time and not moving.

August 5, 2024 | Trespass

The North Bend Sno Falls Credit Union reported that a member was upset. The subject’s credit card had been compromised, and he was upset because a new card could not be immediately issued. The subject struck the table, raised his voice and told an employee that he was “going to go code white.” The issue is being resolved by branch management.  (*This report has been updated to reflect that is is being resolved by management. The original report stated the subject was trespassed and membership revoked.*)

August 5, 2024 | Flower Bed Vandalism

A citizen reported vandalism to their flower bed in North Bend. Upon officer inspection of the flower beds, it was determined that there were signs elk had foraged on the newly planted flowers.

August 6, 2024 | Fraud

A Snoqualmie resident reported a fraudulent phone call where the caller spoofed their bank’s phone number, claimed to be a bank representative, and walked the victim through a fraudulent transaction where nearly $2000 was taken from their account.

August 6, 2024 | Abandoned Vehicle

An abandoned vehicle was reported on SE North Bend Way. Officers contacted the vehicle’s registered owner, and it was determined that the car had broken down and arrangements were being made to move it.

August 7, 2024 | Trespassing 

It was reported that an individual was trespassing in a unit at the North Bend Mobile Home Park. The subject refused to exit the unit. Charges were forwarded to the Prosecutor for Criminal Trespass 1st Degree.

August 7, 2024 | Malicious Mischief

It was reported that two juveniles were on the roof of Timber Ridge Elementary School during the evening and tore off shingles from the roof. The school had surveillance video of the juveniles and would provide it to police once it was available.

August 7, 2024 | Welfare Check

An officer contacted the occupant of a vehicle in North Bend as part of a welfare check. The vehicle later drove off with expired tabs and a fraudulent trip permit. Upon conducting a traffic stop, it was determined the driver was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. A citation was issued for this, and the other infractions.

August 7, 2024 | Early Morning Rollerblading

An officer observed a subject rollerblading in the middle of the roadway at the intersection of Snoqualmie Parkway and Railroad Ave in the early morning hours. While the officer was attempting to contact the subject, he noticed he was carrying a sword or a machete. Upon calling for back up, the officer contacted the subject, and it was determined he was just out for a morning stroll.

August 9, 2024 | Motorcycle Crash

Officers responded to an accident involving a motorcycle that struck a curb and crashed. The driver and passenger were injured but refused aid.
