September 21, 2024 | Possible Abuse/Neglect

A caller reported that they witnessed a minor being struck at a Snoqualmie business. The investigation determined the report was secondhand information, and it was not believed that anyone observed the alleged assault. The individual who provided an ice pack to the minor did not observe a visible injury. The investigation is ongoing.

September 21, 2024 | Malicious Mischief

Graffiti was discovered in the Riverview Park restrooms. Juveniles were seen running from the location but were not located. The City of Snoqualmie Public Works Dept. was notified. Both graffiti taggings were done by the same group, as a distinct “B” was used at both locations.

The railroad crossing at Railroad Ave and Snoqualmie Parkway was malfunctioning. The Northwest Railway Museum was contacted. It took approximately 40 minutes for the crossing to function normally.

September 22, 2024 | Golf Carts on Street

An officer responded to the report of three juveniles riding in a golf cart on a North Bend city street. Once the officer reached the area, two golf carts were observed parked outside of homes. The officers contacted two adult fathers, one of whom was reportedly ‘put off’ that an officer was on scene for kids in golf carts. It was explained to the fathers that the kids might be responsible golf cart drivers, but that would not protect them if a car struck them – and that the golf cart would not protect them in an accident as they have no seatbelts nor provide protection like the shell of a car would.

September 23, 2024 | Suspicious Vehicle

A caller reported a suspicious truck, possibly dumping items, on the BPA road between Fisher and Fairway Ave in Snoqualmie. It was determined the trucks were contractors doing work on power lines.

September 23, 2024 | Residential Burglary

Several rooms on the first floor of a North Bend home were ransacked while the homeowners slept upstairs.  The homeowner’s wallet with multiple credit cards was stolen and later used at multiple stores in southeast King County. Officers went to those stores to obtain surveillance footage as part of the ongoing investigation.

September 23, 2024 | Car Prowls

Multiple car prowls were reported in North Bend. Garage door openers and a pistol were reported stolen. A garage door opener in one prowl may have been used by the suspects to enter a garage and go through it.
