Mayor Ross Proclaims Oct. 9-15 Fire Prevention Week in Snoqualmie

At the October 10, 2022, Snoqualmie City Council meeting, Mayor Ross proclaimed the week of Oct. 9-15, Fire Prevention Week in Snoqualmie. 

Statistic show, planning and prevention pay off when it comes to reducing the risk of house fires. The theme of this year’s National Fire Prevention week is Fire won’t wait. Plan your escape. 

Planning and practicing a home escape route; installing and regularly testing smoke detectors; identifying and reducing household fire hazards - these are some simple steps residents can take to prevent household fires and ensure a safe escape if a fire occurs.
