Snoqualmie Parkway Intersection ADA Ramp Project will Emit Loud Noises Aug. 8

SNOQUALMIE NEWS RELEASE GRAPHIC AUG 2023

City of Snoqualmie Public Works crews will be installing ADA warning ramps at intersections along Snoqualmie Parkway on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023.

Please be advised, the installation process for these yellow warning ramps uses a process that emits loud noises similar to the sound of gun shots.  Although loud, there is no cause for community concern while this work and its associated noises occur. With multiple intersections throughout the City identified for improvement, the team should have work completed by early Tuesday afternoon.

The Snoqualmie Police Dept. is also aware of this installation work in the event that 9-1-1 or non-emergency line reports should occur.

Questions can be submitted to the Parks and Public Works Dept. at pwconcerns@snoqualmiewa.gov or 425-831-4919.
