City Partners with The Line Experience in North Bend to Offer Mountain Bike Information and Rentals
Mountain bike riders of all levels can now visit a new Trailhead kiosk in Snoqualmie Point Park for education and bike rentals. The City has partnered with The Line Experience in North Bend to offer mountain bike information and services near a popular trail system for mountain bikers and hikers. The kiosk is open Saturdays and Sundays through the fall.
“The proximity of the Raging River Trail System makes Snoqualmie Point Park the perfect place for this recreational enhancement,” said Parks and Public Works Director Mike Chambless.
The Trailhead kiosk opened on September 23, and according to The Line Co-Founder Sheryl Tullis has seen a steady stream of interest, rentals, and even a few ride-saves through staff assistance with maintenance issues. Future offerings include mountain bike clinics and guided rides. She added, “Our mission is to help more people access the sport by providing affordable rentals, instruction, and advice on where to ride. We’re committed to diverse participation and respectful recreation on public lands.”
The Line Experience, Inc. specializes in mountain bike rentals, education, trail guidance, and suspension services. In addition to operating the Trailhead kiosk, The Line will conduct inspections and organize quarterly work parties to improve the trails system at Fisher Creek Bike Park. The City Council approved a three-year lease agreement with The Line Experience. Expected revenue for the City based on the licensing agreement is $22,000.
