Do you want to become more involved in your community? Positions are open on the City of Snoqualmie Arts Commission and the Economic Development Commission.

The Arts Commission is seeking candidates to fill two positions.  The Arts Commission helps develop and support public programs for the arts, advises the City on permanent public art installations, and helps develop popular events like the Plein Air Paint Out and other art festivals.  The commission is made up of seven members who must reside within the city.  Commission members serve four-year terms.  Meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

The Economic Development Commission is seeking candidates to fill two positions.  The Economic Development Commission works to identify diverse economic opportunities, recruit, and retain local businesses and foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and strategic partnerships, while supporting a vibrant tourism economy in balance with a healthy community and abundant natural resources. The Commission will present opportunities and recommendations to support strategies and goals set by City Council.  The commission is made up of seven members who must reside within the city or own/operate a business within the Snoqualmie business community.  Commission members serve two-year terms.  Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 8:00 a.m.
