“Go Fish” at the Kids’ Trout Derby in Snoqualmie

News & Announcements Posted on May 02, 2024

The Annual Kids’ Trout Derby will be on May 4, 2024, from daylight to 10 am at the ponds behind the Snoqualmie Police Department, 34825 SE Douglas Street.

We will have bins for community food donations for the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank. Bring non-perishable foods to drop off to help and support our neighbors here in the Snoqualmie Valley! The food bank is in need after the winter months; let's refill their shelves.

About the Trout Derby
This rain-or-shine event for kids ages 5 to 14 draws young participants for a morning of friendly competition and is hosted by the Mount Si Fish & Game Club to promote interest in the outdoors.

Kids ages 5 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult and will have their own pond.

Kids should bring their own poles and gear. Raffle prizes are available for a $1 donation. Free coffee, donuts, and hot chocolate will fortify parents and young anglers alike.

  • Children ages 5-14 may compete.
  • Children under 5 may fish.
  • There is a limit of two fish.
