On Monday, September 30, 2024, Snoqualmie Mayor Katherine Ross honored former Mayor and Councilmember Fuzzy Fletcher for his three decades of public service to the City of Snoqualmie.
Fletcher began serving as a public safety volunteer in the early 90s before joining the City Council from 1995-1997. He then served as mayor from 1998-2005. After two terms as mayor, Fletcher continued volunteering for the city, including serving on the Civil Service Commission from 2012-2024.
To thank him for his dedicated service to Snoqualmie residents, Mayor Ross presented Fletcher with a plaque and key to the city on Monday afternoon.
“The Snoqualmie that we know today was shaped by the dedicated service of former Mayor and Councilmember Fuzzy Fletcher,” said Mayor Ross. “Under his guidance, our small city transformed and grew in a responsible way, becoming a place so many of us are proud to call home. I am grateful for Fuzzy’s service throughout the years.”
