Join the Green Snoqualmie Partnership, City staff, elected leaders, friends, and neighbors for an afternoon of tree planting and family fun at Centennial Fields Park on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
During the Snoqualmie Arbor Day Celebration - happening from 10 am to 2 pm - we will plant 18 trees, including Oak, Gingko, and European Hornbeam species, carefully chosen to thrive in the Snoqualmie Valley climate. The event also features a scavenger hunt, activities for kids, an Arbor Day Proclamation by Mayor Ross, and, of course, pizza!
Arbor Day is a national holiday that the City of Snoqualmie proudly celebrates each year to promote and educate on the proper planting of trees within our urban rorest. This effort not only provides enjoyment in the work itself but also generates decades of benefits for the entire community.
The City of Snoqualmie was honored by the Arbor Day Foundation again this year for achieving Tree City USA status, recognizing the City's dedication to effective urban forest management. Snoqualmie has now held the prestigious Tree City USA designation for 15 consecutive years.
