Big Trucks, Big Fun, Big Truck Day Returns
June 26, 10am-12pm, Centennial Fields Park, 39903 SE Park St.
Start summer vacation with Big Truck Day. This free event is an opportunity for kids to experience big trucks, big equipment, and big fun! Kids are welcome to see, touch, and sit in the trucks and equipment.
Hold the Horn, a sensory-free time from 10am-11:30am, is designed for kids who find sights and sounds a bit overwhelming. Horns will honk, 11:30am-12pm. The Big Truck Day site of Centennial Fields Park is home to an all-inclusive playground.
Big Truck Day is geared for kids ages 1-10 and gives them an opportunity to imagine while pretending to operate big rigs. Kids can navigate a variety of vehicles, from public service and emergency to utility, transportation, and more – all in one place.
Story time, by King County Librarians, will be held under cover at the picnic shelter.
Please dress for the weather and bring something to sit on. Rain or shine, the show will go on!
Parking is very limited at the park. Off-site parking is available at two nearby schools, Snoqualmie Elementary (next door to Centennial Park) and Mount Si High School (.5 miles, walkable).
