City of Snoqualmie Seeks Your Input on Stormwater

Survey will help develop programs to protect our local streams and waterways.

Snoqualmie, WA – The city seeks input from Snoqualmie residents and business owners to develop programs for protecting our local streams, rivers, and Puget Sound from toxins and pollutants. While these are uncertain times, the work of the city continues. Completing this brief survey is an opportunity for residents and business owners to have a positive impact on their community.

What Is Stormwater?

Stormwater, the runoff after rain and snowstorms, picks up pollutants such as motor oil and pet waste and can flow, untreated, into major streams and waterways. According to the Washington Department of Ecology, stormwater runoff is the leading threat to Washington’s waterways, including urban streams, rivers, and habitats.
