Fourth of July Parade Honors Front Line Workers

News & Announcements Posted on July 01, 2020

Snoqualmie, WA – Start your Fourth of July holiday by viewing a parade honoring front line workers. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of Meadowbrook Way, travel through downtown Snoqualmie and up Snoqualmie Parkway, and make its way through several Snoqualmie Ridge neighborhoods. Watch from your front yard or a local park to maintain social distancing and wear face coverings.

Essential workers honored in this vehicle parade include the Snoqualmie Valley School District bus drivers and staff who provided Grab and Go meals; front line Safeway employees; Encompass staff who support caregivers and children; and Snoqualmie police officers, firefighters and EMTs, just to name a few.

“These workers are vital to our entire city, and a Fourth of July parade gives everyone a chance to honor their service,” said Mayor Matt Larson.
