Public Invited to Patriot Day Ceremony in Snoqualmie

September 11, 8:30 a.m., Railroad Park

Snoqualmie, WA – In honor of the 2,977 civilians, firefighters, and police officers who died in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, there will be a Patriot Day remembrance ceremony this Saturday, September 11 in Snoqualmie. The public is invited to attend the ceremony at the Railroad Park flagpole, 7971 Railroad Ave SE, beginning at 8:30 a.m. 

The ceremony will include the American Legion Post 79 Color Guard; the National Anthem sung by Faith McFadden; Taps by Snoqualmie Valley Veterans Honor Guard bugler; acknowledgements by Snoqualmie Police Captain Nick Almquist and American Legion Vice Commander George Townsend; and closing by American Legion Chaplain Michael Pollinna.
