Plein Air Paint Out 2022 Poster Selected – “In the Moment”

Plein Air Poster 2022

Snoqualmie, WA – Artist Britt Greenland, this year’s Designated Snoqualmie Plein Air Paint Out artist, painted in Sandy Cove Park in honor of this year’s Railroad Days on August 28. Based on a City Facebook and Instagram vote, participants selected an oil-based work inspired by a Snoqualmie River view and titled “In the Moment” as the Plein Air Paint Out winning painting for 2022.

This is the thirteenth year of the Plein Air Paint Out, which means to paint outdoors. The event is hosted by the Snoqualmie Arts Commission, which has a mission of nurturing a vibrant arts scene in Snoqualmie. The Falls Compounding Pharmacy in downtown Snoqualmie will display the winning painting September 13-30.

The Arts Commission will create a poster based on the painting, which will be available for sale to the public at the Art Gallery of SnoValley. For more information, contact Sally Rackets at sallyrackets@comcast.net.
