Upcoming City Council Opening To Be Filled by Appointment

Snoqualmie, WA – The City of Snoqualmie is accepting applications from Snoqualmie residents to fill an upcoming vacancy for Position 2 on the Snoqualmie City Council. This position is currently held by Council Member and Mayor Elect Katherine Ross, whose last day serving on the City Council in Position 2 will be December 31, 2021.

The term of the position begins once a candidate is appointed by a majority vote of the City Council and expires after the results of the November 2023 general election are certified.

Residents interested in applying for the Council vacancy must have resided in the City of Snoqualmie for at least one year prior to Council appointment and must be registered to vote in the City of Snoqualmie.

 Deadline

Applications are due on or before 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Applications received after 5 p.m. on December 23, 2021 will not be accepted.
