Use this form to start utility service if you are the buyer of the property. Water is not turned off between owners, but the account is taken out of the seller's name on the day escrow closes and put into the buyer's name the following day. Utilities provided by the City of Snoqualmie are Water, Sewer and Storm Water. For Garbage and Power, please contact Waste Management and Puget Sound Energy. If you are a tenant and want to start service, please ask the owner of the property to fill out the Start Service for Tenants form. For questions, email Tami Wood: twood@snoqualmiewa.gov or call us at 425.888.1555
If you are renting back from the seller, we still must close your account on the date escrow closes. You can work with the seller if you owe them money for utilities. We cannot prorate for rent-back situations.
Please enter the company name here if the account should be billed to your company's name instead of your name.
Legally, the city is required to open utility accounts the day after escrow closes. If the seller is renting back from you, you must work with them to pay the utilities if the account is in your name while they are living there. By initialing here, you understand and certify that you have provided the escrow closing date and not the move-out date.
If you use online billing for an old account, you will need to log in, remove your old account # and add your new one. If you need help, please email Tami for instructions. Email is listed below.
You will receive your first bill around the first week of the month following your closing date. After you receive your first bill, you can sign up for online billing, paperless statements and auto-pay at the link above.
By typing my name here, I certify that all of the information contained herein is accurate, to the best of my knowledge.
You will receive a confirmation that your form was submitted after clicking submit at the end. There is nothing else you need to do. Your account will be set up the day after escrow closes and you will receive your first bill in the next billing cycle.
