The City of Snoqualmie is excited to announce the relaunch of its popular City Academy, a free program designed to give residents an inside look at how their local government operates. The Snoqualmie City Academy will empower residents with knowledge about city services, departments, and decision-making processes.
The in-person City Academy is a six-week program that offers participants a behind-the-scenes view of city operations. Each week, a different city department, from public works to the police and fire departments, will host a session. This provides an opportunity for residents to meet city leaders, ask questions, and learn directly about the work that keeps the community running smoothly.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the City's structure, budget, and strategic goals. The curriculum includes interactive sessions, tours of city facilities, and discussions on topics ranging from land use and planning to emergency management.
The academy will run on Wednesday evenings from Oct. 1 through Nov. 5, 2025, with one Saturday morning session.
Online registration is available at: www.snoqualmiewa.gov/FormCenter/Communications-13/City-Academy-Registration-126.
