March 17, 2024 - Injury Collision
At approximately 7:30 am, Snoqualmie officers responded to a dispatched injury collision. The single-vehicle collision occurred when the driver struck a tree, causing the vehicle to roll onto its roof. The driver had minor injuries and her passenger did not appear to have any injuries at the time.
March 19, 2024 - Homicide Suspect Arrest
Through the diligent work of multiple investigators, a conclusion was finally reached in a North Bend Death Investigation case from 2019 in which the victim was a young baby boy. Upon new leadership and direction from Chief Lynch, the cold case came to an end when a Murder 2 warrant was issued for the suspect. On March 19, a Snoqualmie Detective and Police Sergeant successfully apprehended the suspect in Tacoma, WA.
March 20, 2024 - Agency Assist
North Bend units assisted a Montana law enforcement agency in the location of a wanted suspect. The suspect reportedly had a $50,000 warrant for his arrest. He also was reported to unlawfully have his two young children with him. The children were reportedly listed as missing/endangered. The suspect also stated that if law enforcement attempted to take his children, he would kill them.
Using information provided, an officer was able to locate the suspect in a vehicle at QFC with his children. The suspect was taken into custody and the children were safely recovered. The suspect was subsequently booked into King County Jail.
March 24, 2024 - Burglary Report
Officers responded to a burglary report that occurred likely during the early morning hours. On review of cameras, the suspect appeared to have removed a window from the Papa Murphy’s store in North Bend but did not appear to take anything. However, the adjacent O’Reilly Auto Parts store reported a similar removed window and stolen items from their store.
March 24, 2024 - Court Order Violation
North Bend patrol units responded to a Court Order Violation In-Progress located at Red Oak Retirement Center. The subject was located, and the order was confirmed to have been served. The subject was arrested for violation of a Vulnerable Adult Protection Order. The subject was transported and booked into Issaquah Jail.
March 24, 2024 - DUI
In the early morning, an officer observed a vehicle nearly double the listed speed limit in downtown Snoqualmie. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and observed possible signs of impairment with the driver.
The driver performed a voluntary field sobriety test. The officer concluded that the subject was impaired and arrested her for Driving While Under the Influence.
At the Snoqualmie Police Department, the subject eventually provided a valid breath sample. This indicated the driver was approximately two-and-a-half times above the legal limit. She was later booked into the Issaquah Jail.
March 24, 2024 - Collision (Non-Injury)
A Snoqualmie officer responded to a dispatched collision at SE Jacobia Street and Snoqualmie Parkway. The officer learned that a driver had been distracted and rear ended another occupied vehicle. The officer issued a criminal citation as the initial driver had a suspended license. He also issued traffic infractions to the driver for following too closely and for registration expired over two months. The officer provided the driver with a warning for not having insurance on the vehicle.
