July 24, 2023 - Trespass in Progress

Officers were dispatched to a downtown North Bend business for the report of a male who was kicking the walls, pulling plants out of the planters, and spitting. The caller wanted the male trespassed and moved along. Officers located the male and issued him a trespass notice. He was told to not come back to the location and was offered rides to other locations, but declined. A short time later, the caller called back to report the same male was back at the location. He was then arrested for Criminal Trespass and Possession of Stolen Property as he was in possession of debit cards that had been obtained in a previous robbery.

July 24, 2023 - Suspicious Male

A caller reported a suspicious male was peering into vehicles and going into people’s yards in a North Bend neighborhood. When the caller stated that when they asked the male what he was doing, he started yelling profanities at them. Officers arrived and contacted the male. After a check of his name, he returned with several misdemeanor warrants out of Snoqualmie and Issaquah. He was arrested and booked into Issaquah Jail.

July 25, 2023 - Commercial Burglary

It was reported that overnight, a fence to a North Bend construction site was cut and approximately 200 pounds of copper bar was taken. The loss was estimated at $200,000. There was no known suspect information. Extra patrols were assigned to the area.

July 25, 2023 - DUI

An officer pulled over a vehicle after observing it speeding, driving a little erratically, and going over roadway lines near downtown North Bend. The male driver was slurring his words and had children in the vehicle. The officer then conducted field sobriety tests. Following the tests, the male driver was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. The driver’s wife was called to get the children and the male was brought to the police station for a breathalyzer test. He blew 1.5 times the legal limit. He was taken to jail for DUI and reckless endangerment.

July 26, 2023 - Blocking Collision

Officers were dispatched to an injury accident that was blocking traffic at the intersection of Snoqualmie Parkway and Center Street. Upon arrival officers found two vehicles with extensive damage and airbags deployed. One driver said she “zoned out” and didn’t notice the red light, causing her to strike another vehicle. Aid was called  to assist the drivers. Occupants were evaluated by the Fire Department and the vehicles were towed from the scene.

July 28, 2023 - Car Prowls

A victim called to report that when they returned to their vehicle after visiting Snoqualmie Falls, a window had been broken out and their wallet stolen from the car. When officers arrived, they observed a couple more vehicles with windows broken out. Officers conducted an area check with a negative result.

July 29, 2023 - Attempted Commercial Burglary

A caller reported a suspicious person outside their downtown Snoqualmie business door attempting to break in. The caller was able to yell at the subject through the ring camera, causing the person to run away. Officers conducted an area check, but did not locate the described subject. The video was obtained for an attempted  ID of the suspect.

July 29, 2023 - Road Rage

A caller reported that a male subject in a truck was flipping her off, yelling at her and threw something at her vehicle after she accidently cut him off at a 4-way stop in downtown Snoqualmie. Officers arrived in the area and stopped the suspect truck. The caller’s vehicle did sustain damage. The male driver of the truck was issued a criminal citation for Malicious Mischief.

July 29, 2023 - DUI

An officer was nearly struck head on by a vehicle traveling the wrong direction in his lane. The officer turned around and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to yield and could not maintain its lane. It made “jerky” movements and was all over the roadway. When the vehicle finally stopped, the subject nearly fell out. The subject was detained and put in the back of the patrol car. He was extremely intoxicated and and very confused. Officers then observed several cases of alcoholic beverages in the vehicle. After being transported to jail for DUI processing, the subject blew almost 4 times the legal limit. He was booked into jail after being medically cleared.
