August 22 – DUI

Officers were dispatched to a female driving her vehicle in circles, hitting a crosswalk sign at Hancock Ave. and Jacobia Street in Snoqualmie, and running into a tree. Officers found the female driver outside the vehicle. She became agitated while conducting field sobriety testing and was placed under arrest and taken to the Issaquah Jail for investigation of DUI.

August 22 – Vehicle vs. Pedestrian

Medics saw a vehicle hit a juvenile on a bicycle while in the crosswalk at the 100 block of W. Park Street in North Bend. The juvenile was taken by Aid to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and was visibly shaken. There was no indication of impairment or intoxication on behalf of the driver. The juvenile sustained minor injuries. 

August 22 – Theft in Progress

An employee at the Sunglass Hut at 461 South Fork Ave SW in North Bend called to advise a male had walked into the store and concealed a couple pairs of sunglasses. When the male saw mall security, he ran out of the store, got into a black jeep, and sped off. Estimated value of the merchandise was $700. The vehicle or the subject were not located.

August 23 – Malicious Mischief

At Rock Creek Ridge SW and W. Ribary Way in North Bend, police responded to a call regarding two suspicous males standing near a vehicle. The caller watched one of the males throw a rock at a vehicle window, breaking it, and leaving the area on foot. Officers arrived and conducted an area search, but were unable to locate them. 

August 23 - Theft Report

A resident of Gamma Street in Snoqualmie returned from vacation and found someone had entered her gated fence and stole her bicycle. The resident had also left an older bicycle as well. There is no suspect information.  

August 23 – Injury Accident

Officers found a male outside of a sedan laying on the ground at SE Swenson Drive and Snoqualmie Parkway in Snoqualmie and a female with severe injuries still inside the car. The other driver, who was struck from behind, also had injuries. It was apparent the male in the sedan was under the influence of narcotics. Officers drafted a search warrant for the subject’s blood and the male was taken to the hospital. The two other subjects involved in the collision were also taken to the hospital to receive medical attention.

August 25 – Court Order Violation

In Pickering Court in Snoqualmie, a caller reported a male that she had a court order with was currently inside her residence. Officers arrived and the male was non-compliant. He picked up his small child and refused to set them down. Officers were able to de-escalate the situation and take the male into custody. He was charged and booked for exposing a minor to domestic violence, violation of no contact order, and obstruction. 

August 25 – Traffic Stop with Warrant Arrest

Officers were conducting an area check on Alm Way/North Bend Way in North Bend when a suspicious vehicle drove by. The registered owner returned with a suspended license and the plate was expired. Officers pulled over the vehicle and the driver admitted to having warrants. However, the male was reluctant to give his name. Officers finally obtained his information and he did have several warrants. A nearby agency confirmed and he was taken into custody and booked into jail.
