Opioid Funding Advisory Committee

Funding Availability

In response to their role in the nationwide opioid crisis, Washington State and local governments filed lawsuits against several companies that were involved in opioid manufacturing, distribution, and marketing.  As a result of the settlements, the city of Snoqualmie has received, or expects to receive, settlement funds that must be distributed according to the settlement agreement.

The City of Snoqualmie has developed an Opioid Funding Advisory Committee, a Mayor's Advisory Committee that works with staff to ensure Snoqualmie opioid settlement funds are dispersed for approved uses in accordance with the Allocation Agreement.

This committee will design funding criteria, review funding applications, and make funding recommendations which will be forwarded to Snoqualmie City Council for final approval.

We are looking for volunteers who reside within the Snoqualmie area, and have a background in substance abuse services, healthcare, or human services organizations assisting those affected by opioid use.  If interested, please complete the online form.  For more information, contact the City Clerk.
