November 25, 9 am to noon, meet at the corner of SE McCullough and Elderberry Ave. SE.
The Green Snoqualmie Partnership will host a tree planting event on November 25 (the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend) to restore a portion of the Silent Creek Forest on Snoqualmie Ridge with native shrubs and plants. This is an event that any beginner will feel comfortable with – the workload is easy since the focus will be on planting, and there will be several forest stewards on hand to help and guide. Escape from the holiday shopping frenzy and the TV, get outside, and do some good for your community and nature!
Bring a bottle of water. Wear clothes you can get dirty, sturdy shoes, and work gloves if you have them (we will have some you can borrow). Tools and instruction provided. Signup here.
