The Snoqualmie City Council budget roundtable workshops are underway and include presentations for City Council Members by Finance Director Robert Hamud and city staff, followed by council discussion.
Topics include revenue forecasts; COVID-19 impacts; levels of service; property, utility, sales, and business and occupation taxes; and other considerations for the 2021-2022 biennial budget.
The workshops are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month beginning at 6 p.m., just prior to the 7 p.m. City Council meetings. Due to Governor Inslee’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy order, City Hall is closed; therefore, workshops and council meetings are conducted online.*
The public is invited to attend the workshop and meeting on April 27 by dial-in. Call 1-646-749-3112 and use access code 723-054-317.
No public comment will be taken during the budget workshops. The public can speak during the regular public comment period of the council meeting.
Future meeting attendance information will be posted on the city Facebook page and via email or text notification. Sign up at Notify Me.
*The above option is provided to ensure the safety of City staff and members of the community, as we continue with social distancing and compliance with Governor Inslee’s “Stay Home -- Stay Healthy” order in Proclamation 20-25.
