[ARCHIVED] Public Hearings Scheduled for Utility Rates and Hotel Agreement Modification

Two public hearings are scheduled for the Snoqualmie City Council meeting on December 14, 2020 at 7 p.m. Both will be held via Zoom with a dial-in option.*

Proposed Utility Rate Increases 2021-2026
Combined utility rate increases for 2021-2026 are under consideration by the Snoqualmie City Council, including water, sewer, and stormwater. A utility rate increase is not recommended for 2021. Steady rate increases between 2022 and 2026 are proposed. Reference documents on the city website include an information sheet, the proposed rate table, the proposed ordinance, and an FAQ. A public hearing was first held on November 23.

Proposed Major Modification to Development Agreement
Chun Lai Hospitality, owner of the Hampton Inn & Suites franchise, desires to leave the franchise and operate the hotel as an independent hotel enterprise, maintaining similar room rates as are presently offered and substantially the same hotel quality and service standards.
